Our library offers a wide range services for the community. If you have questions about a service listed here, or need assistance with a service that’s not listed below, please contact us.

Copier

Copying of black and white $0.15 per page or full color documents $0.50 per page.

Printing black and white $0.15 per page and full color $0.50 per page.

We are happy to load any special paper you may need to use for your copies.

Local – (585 and toll free) 50 cents per page

Long Distance – $1.00 per page.

You may also use our fax service to receive faxes at  15 cents a page.  All received faxes are sent to our e-mail and will not be printed until you arrive.

Internet Access

We have patron computers with internet access that can be accessed with your Monroe County Library Card or with a guest pass (available at the front desk).

There is free WiFi throughout the library.

Productivity Tools

All of our computers are equipped  with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

All computers have USB access ports available for your convenience.

Genealogy

Make an appointment on our Events Calendar for assistance with your family tree. We also have a small local history section.

Large Print Collection

A selection of adult fiction and non-fiction books with enlarged print are available for patrons who need or prefer visual assistance.

eBooks and Audio Books

We have Books on CD and children’s read-along Wonderbooks available for check out. eBooks and audio books can be borrowed for three weeks through the Libby App with your library card. Download Libby.

DVDs

We have a large selection of adult and children’s movies on DVD, and TV shows on DVD. There is also a limited number of non-fiction titles available on DVD. All DVDs can be loaned out for one week.

Magazines

There are many different magazines available with a variety topics to suit everyone’s needs, all can be loaned out for 3 weeks.

Readers Advisory

We offer assistance to help you locate book/subjects that you are looking for. We also can advise you of authors with a similar writing style to help expand your reading base.

Interlibrary Loan

You can request library materials to be placed on hold and brought in from another library. Currently there is no fee for this service.

The staff is happy to help you look up or locate items.

Seed Library

The Hamlin Public Library provides a variety of flower and vegetable seeds during the spring season. Patrons may take up to five seed packets and are encouraged to donate seeds back to the library throughout the season.

VIP Passes

Community and Meeting Room

Our Joseph Robach Community Room is available for use for your meeting,  tutoring, craft classes or  other group meetings .  Please call ahead for availability and scheduling before filling out the application for use.
